The Lady Bulldogs scored the game's first 14 points and built a 25-point lead through the first quarter against an overmatched Bentonville West team on Tuesday.

By halftime, the Fayetteville lead was up to 39 points and coach Vic Rimmer went deep to his bench the entire second half in the blowout Lady'Dogs victory. Sasha Goforth led Fayetteville (14-2, 1-0) with 18 points, with Allie Smith, Kylee Coulter and Maya Mayberry added nine points each.

Ashaundi Henry led the Lady Wolverines (2-13, 0-2) with six points.
