Van Buren found success shooting the ball behind the arc to open the game and led from start to finish Friday night at Clair Bates Arena.

The Lady Pointers made four of their first five 3-point baskets, helping build a 14-6 lead in the first quarter.

Bentonville West (3-19, 1-7 7A-West) was limited to just four points in the second quarter and allowed Van Buren (16-4, 7-1) to push its lead out to 33-10 heading into halftime.

Lani Snowden scored 12 points and led a balanced Van Buren attack. Eleven players scored in the win. Shania Wilson led Bentonville West with 13 points. Van Buren was able to extend its lead to 58-16 heading to the final quarter after sinking three 3-pointers in the third quarter.
