Bentonville West 8, Siloam Springs 6

Jason Gloeckler’s RBI single snapped a 2-2 tie and led to a six-run outburst in the fifth inning Friday as West held off Siloam Springs and snapped the Wolverines’ five-game losing skid. Two Siloam Springs errors allowed West (9-10) to add two more runs, followed by an RBI single by Jaron Jenkins and a two-run double by Joey Aden. The Panthers made things close by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fifth on two hit batters, a ground out and an RBI single by Pool.
