Bentonville West moves into new facility

BENTONVILLE, Ark. —The Bentonville West Wolverines moved home on Thursday. After months of sharing facilities with the Bentonville Tigers, the 7A's newest school has moved into their brand new state-of-the-art practice facility. "It's great," says Wolverins quarterback Will Jarrett. "[We] had to be patient, wait a long time but it's finally here." None of the players had seen the new facility before Thursday's big reveal and the head coach, couldn't be more pleased with how it went. "We wanted to get them in here and make them feel at home," said Bentonville West head coach Bryan Pratt. "Because this is their home now so it's been a long time in the waiting but we're really excited about it." As the newest school in Arkansas' toughest conference, the Wolverines think their new facility, with one of the best weight rooms in the state, can give them the edge they need to prove they can hang in the 7A West. "It gives us some confidence, just how nice these facilities are," says Jarrett. "I think it's gonna give us a lot of confidence knowing that we've got all this backing us up," says junior linebacker Sebastian Caniglia. "Seeing all the new stuff we can work out with, I think it'll transition on the field greatly." The Wolverines open their inaugural season at Pryor, Okla. on September 2nd.
