Fayetteville 7, Bentonville West 4

Fayetteville snapped a 2-2 tie with four runs in the top of the fourth inning, and the Bulldogs held on to defeat West in 6A-West action Wednesday night at Bulldog Field. The game was originally scheduled for the Wolverine Athletic Complex, but it was moved because of wet conditions. West, however, did serve as the home team. Fayetteville (5-2, 1-1) loaded the bases with a single, a hit batter and walk; then, Harrison Wales’ grounder was misplayed and allowed Josh Hart to score the go-ahead run.
